B.S.E. in Childhood Education
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers the B.S.E. degree in Childhood Education (kindergarten through grade 6). To be recommended for an initial teaching license in childhood education, the student must complete the B.S.E. and M.A.T. degree programs or the four-year licensure BSE program.
Both the B.S.E. in Childhood Education (CHED) and the B.S.E. in Elementary Education (ELEL) are competitive entry programs for upper level coursework. Program applications for Fall 2015 are due Jan. 30, 2014. This application will be soon be available online.
